Admissions – Alcohol and Drug Rehab

Do you need help? Does someone you know need help? Call (314) 631-4299 any day, any time.

Harris House has been providing addiction treatment in St. Louis for over 50 years. If you or someone you know needs help, call us for a free confidential assessment with one of our counselors. Our staff will answer all your questions about our alcohol and drug rehabilitation programs. We can also arrange for an intervention. Clients are admitted to our programs every day of the year.

Harris House provides alcohol and drug rehab services to men and women age 18 and above. Our alcohol and drug rehab programs are grounded in the Twelve Step philosophy for lifelong recovery. They are supplemented with medication management and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) process groups, based on an individual treatment plan.

Many Harris House residents have a dual diagnosis, with a mental illness such as depression, anxiety or bi-polar disorder in addition to their substance abuse problem. Our treatment programs take all factors into account that include various forms of medication management, including vivitrol, suboxone, naltrexone, and other anti-craving medications.

Our intensive inpatient program for alcohol and substance abuse is among the top programs in the region and offers affordable and effective treatment, based on outcome measurement studies.

If Harris House is not the appropriate treatment setting for you, we will help find a program in your home state and refer you there. Harris House is committed to protecting the privacy of participants in our programs and abides by all applicable federal and state laws that protect confidentiality.

See attached admission clothing and personal items checklist for items to bring upon admission.
